The Department of Welfare and Public Administration opened the masters program on December 30th of 1978. It opened the doctoral program on November 3rd of 1980 and changed its name to the Department of Public Administration. As of April 18, 2022, 62 masters degrees and 83 doctoral degrees have been awarded.
