대구대학교 GRADUATE SCHOOL

Daegu University established the Department of Childhood Care in the School of Education in 1981 and The Department later changed its name to the Department of Early Childhood Education. It began that bachelor’s degrees awarded to 20 students. Daegu University established master program in 1997 and doctoral program in 1998. The graduate programs of early childhood education within Daegu University produces scholars who can build upon the practical application of knowledge and master their areas of study from a theoretic and analytic viewpoint.

- Training of professionals in childhood education and related practices

- Developing students’ knowledge of childhood education and research technique abilities

- Developing students’ creative abilities that improve our nation’s childhood education
