The Department of Natural Resources started offering four major programs: Forest Resources, Wood Science and Technology, Agricultural Chemistry, and Food Resources. The masters program was opened in March of 1998 and the doctoral program on November 13th of 1999. Now the department offers four major programs: Food and Environmental Safety Science (Master and Doctoral Course), Bioindustry (Master and Doctoral Course), Forest Resources (Master and Doctoral Course), and Livestock (Doctoral Course).
