The Department of Family Life Welfare began in 1997 as Home Economics major in the Department of Life and Science. The Department of Family Life Welfare became an independent department in 2001.

Academic Object

- Training of professionals who can contribute to the quality of human life

- Training of family life professionals who develop the expertise, programs and service techniques to improve family welfare

- Training of family welfare professionals who can identify the cause behind many of the family problems that occur in modern society
