대구대학교 GRADUATE SCHOOL

The Department of Economics started its masters program with a quota of sixty-six students in February of 1978. The doctoral program was opened with 33 students in December of 1979. The Department of Economics was later added to the Graduate School of Social Development in November of 1996.

B. Educational Objective

To provide students with a broad based understanding of economic theory through comprehensive analysis and comparison of a variety of management fields

Training creative economic professionals equipped with the expertise required to execute policy decisions in todays competitive markets

Training economic professionals who are prepared to improve and apply economic theory to enhance the national economy
